There are many good English prospects to look out for in the future and plenty of them have already blossomed into great players, but which are the 5 English talents to look out for? Below we will have a look at some of the more established English players and some of the upcoming ones.
Marcus Rashford – This one is a pretty obvious one. Marcus Rashford has come on leaps and bounds since his Manchester United debut and has already scored many important goals for the club. He has already had his England senior debut and has scored in that as well, he has the potential to go on to become one of the greatest English strikers that has ever lived. There aren’t many players better than Rashford at the moment and he is taking English football by storm thanks to some of his great goals, the last time a good striker came through the ranks in England was Wayne Rooney, and look how well he fared? Rashford has the ability and the attitude to put his name down in footballing history. Marcus Rashford is only 18 years old and is already in the starting line ups for club and country and we will soon get to see what he is all about and what he can really do in the World Cup.
Dele Alli – Dele Alli has already established himself as one of the best players for both England and Tottenham and he continues to show the potential that will ultimately make him one of England’s best. His aggressive nature and quick runs will put him down in history. Dele Alli is only 20 years old which makes him a definite asset for the future of English football.
Luke Shaw – Luke Shaw has gone quiet a bit as of let because of another injury setback, but he has come on leaps and bounds since his horrific injury last year. He has got himself fit and looks like one to watch for the future. He has been good for Manchester United this season and we might see him a lot more once he has recovered from his latest injury. Luke Shaw is only 21 so he has a lot of time to progress into the finished article, he is often compared with the likes of Ashley Cole for his quick runs up the wing.
Kyle Walker – Kyle Walker has already established himself as one of the best right backs in the Premier League and with his quick runs and great tackling skills will surely see him as the number one right back for England when the World Cup comes along. He has started the season well with Tottenham and there aren’t many players quick enough to catch up with him down the wing.
Jesse Lingard – Jesse has established himself in the Man United team under Jose Mourinho and has already scored a few important goals for the club. He will soon play an important role for England just as he is doing for Man United if he continues to progress. He has already been in the England starting line up a few times and we are almost certain to see him take part in the world cup.

Raheem Sterling would have been on this list but due to injuries and his performances last season he has just missed out.
